DDPs are worldwide unique storage servers.
DDPs are the only true ethernet based SAN systems. Very fast in contrast with regular NAS systems.
DDP storage shows up as local drives on the desktops. Such DDP drive behaves like a normal local drive for you. But that same local drive behaves like a normal local drive for your colleagues as well with the same write and read possibilities.
DDP drives uses like all fast drives the SCSI (or SAS or SATA) protocol. In this case the protocol is called iSCSI, because the SCSI protocol uses IP and Ethernet cabling.
To allow everyone using such a DDP drive to be able to simultaneously write and read, Ardis Technologies developed the AVFS (Ardis Virtual File System) technology. No user is aware of this, because AVFS comes standard on any standalone DDP.

The standalone DDP systems are all-in-one systems. So the phrase: one system, one network and one manufacturer is really true here.
The standalone DDP series offers a solution for any size edit boutique. There are more then 40 different DDP versions.
The DDP6D - DDP24D comes with a frontbezel, which gives the DDP the look.
