Per November 2011 Ardis Technologies presents the new line of microDDPs.
The new line of microDDPs consist of:
* microDDP160 with 2 x 160 GB SSDs
* microDDP300 with 300 GB SSDs
* microDDP600 with 2 x 600 GB SSDs
The microDDPs can be hand carried, are ideal for location recordings, can be used in vans, in studios, in rental companies as storage for ingest applications such as those from EVS, Avid, Tools on Air, Softron, Grass Valley and others.
The microDDPxxx systems each have 2 x 1GbE ports, are absolutely silent and can store up to 2000 track hours, 48KHz, 24 bit audio, 20 hours of compressed HD video. Some 20 workstations with Avid, FCP, Pro Tools, Premiere, Autodesk, Fairlight and other apps can have immediate shared access to the material on one or multiple microDDPs and collaborate without copying.
With its 19 inch, 1HE, 25 cm depth and weight of 3 kg it can be employed in any situation where sharing, small, superfast and or silent are of the essence.
Mulitple microDDPs can be accessed simultaneously via the workstations connected. Within one minute it can be in use on location in a van or connected to a laptop, and the next moment it can be connected in a standard in house post production environment to numerous workstations.
All workstation operators can then immediately access the material.
No chaos because no copying required.
