| This is an example of a colloborative workflow in a setup of Avids on PC's and FCP and Pro Tools on Macs. Also Avids on Macs or Pro Tools on PC can be integrated. The post production applications all have simultaneous read and write access from and to the drives/volumes on the DynamicDrivePool. Using Pro Tools, Digitranslator and OMF or AAF as exchange format and using the fact that all media files are already on the same DDP drive/volume no copying of media data is required during this exchange process between Avid and Pro Tools or vice versa. This speeds up the workflow between the video and audio department. |
