This setup shows a colloborative workflow of Final Cut Pro and Avids on PC's, The systems all have simultaneous read and write access to the drives/volumes on the DynamicDrivePool. Using MXF and the MXF4QT import plugin from HPA Tools on the Mac all systems have access to media files no matter where the ingest has taken place. This setup with standard 1GbE connections can accomodate video bandwidths from compressed DV25 to the 10-bit uncompressed video HD formats. Full Project sharing between Avid systems is guaranteed and for Project sharing between Avid and FCP the DDP can be seen as the basic requirement. To speed up Project exchange between both it is important to prevent the need to copy the media files.
